My Christian journey
Being an introvert and a Christian can be a divine combination. The solitude that introversion brings allows for a deeper connection with God. It is a precious time for introverts to delve into the word of God and reflect upon it. Personally, I have been able to dedicate ample time to this practice and have witnessed the transformative power of God’s word in my life. It has truly changed my perspective and outlook on life. I can confidently say that I am a living testimony of the power of God’s word.
In this particular phase of my journey, I want to share with you the truth of God’s word. Together, we will delve into the scriptures and extract their deeper meaning. I understand that some of you may have read the Bible from cover to cover multiple times, while others may still struggle with it. For me, I initially started by randomly picking a few verses to read, but as I delved deeper, I became more curious and eager to explore further. I jumped from one chapter to another, constantly praying for God to help me understand his word. It was a challenging journey, but with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I have been able to strengthen my spiritual walk with God.
Light at the end of it all...
You are familiar with the phrase “There is light at the end of the tunnel”… well this is not a cliche when you allow God to be part of your life journey. For the record, let it be known that I am not perfect, I am a sinner for Romans 3:23 says that ‘for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God’…1 John 1:8-10 ESV says ‘If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us’.
So I am not perfect, I make mistakes but I learn from them. I try as much as possible to be in line with God’s word in all my ways so that I can have that peace of mind that only God gives not the ‘peace’ of the world…John 14:27 NIV says ‘ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid’.
Note here when the Lord Jesus Christ says that He will give us His peace meaning there are two kinds of peace…God’s peace and world peace. Christ as He was raised from the dead by our Father, He said that He will send a Helper to us who will bear Him witness and that Helper is the Holy Spirit who carries the peace of God with Him.
So when you pray ask the Holy Spirit to give you the inner peace of God
